Unforgettable Wedding Ceremonies

What do you need?

Six questions we hear every day. Tap the one that’s on your mind and we’ll help you take the next right step.

Your wedding is as unique as the shoes you wear.

Some of you wear stilettos (yes, even grooms have been known to parade around in a pair of heels), and some of you wear sneakers; that's your choice because you're unique. In the same way, we think that you should have the freedom to choose what your wedding ceremony looks like – it is your wedding day after all.

Choosing the right marriage officer can make all the difference to your special day.

Together we have performed more than 4,000 weddings – and are fun, experienced marriage officers who believe in love – and we'd love to be a part of your special day. Based in Johannesburg, we marry couples across Gauteng and travel further when the wedding calls for it.

Let's meet and plan your perfect wedding.

We'll listen carefully and nod at the appropriate times, take notes when necessary, and give suggestions when we think they'll help.

We're fun, entertaining, caring marriage officers who love officiating weddings, so come and share a coffee, or tea, or wine; we promise you, it'll be worth your while.

The Friendly Faces Behind the Magic

Someone – nobody will admit who – decided empathy means walking in someone else’s shoes. We think that’s just gross. So no, we won’t try on your shoes – but we will walk beside you, every step of the way.

Nick smiling at an outdoor wedding ceremony in a kilt

Nick

Nick owns a staggering eight pairs of shoes.

He has two pairs of slip-on boots for smart occasions, two pairs of flip-flops for all-day comfort, a pair of fluffy sheepskin slippers, and three pairs of well-worn and very comfortable sneakers.

Whenever he can, however, Nick goes barefoot. It keeps life uncomplicated. Because that is how Nick does things – without complication.

Do not worry, Nick will wear shoes to your wedding.

Alison

Alison likes shoes. A lot. She will tell you that a person can never have too many shoes. She has footwear for every occasion you can think of, and even some for those you have never heard of. Alison recently bought special shoe cupboards just to manage all of her footwear.

Alison will wear the ideal shoes for your wedding. If she does not own them, she will gladly find them. Can you say shopping trip? Alison is that committed to making your wedding work for you.

Lesley

Lesley is all about comfort. Her shoes fit, and they fit well. She spends a lot of her day on her feet and chooses shoes that will look after her little piggies.

Lesley will not only be the perfect fit for your wedding, she will also make for a comfortable fit as she does what she does best: care.

She will look after you while she helps you prepare for – and experience – the wedding ceremony of your dreams.

We Swear We Didn’t Pay Them

These are real words from real couples. We keep them here to remind ourselves why this work matters.

The Perfect Fit

The Perfect Fit is where we help you make sense of the ceremony, the paperwork, the choices, and the occasional wedding-planning wobble. Start with the question that brought you here, then take the next step when you're ready.
